Mai Sakurajima

Mai is a serious individual, especially around Sakuta Azusagawa. She came across as having a slightly cold demeanor in the first episodes; despite wearing a bunny costume at the library for attention, she isn't willing to attract more attention than is necessary for herself. When she is noticed and recognized, she would be listening to music using earphones. This can be partly justified by her fame-laden childhood, which stopped her from being in school long enough to make friends. Upon resuming her acting career, however, Mai gradually opens up to people, and it turns out she has all the kindness, maturity and professionalism expected from an actress of her status. She is also a high achiever at school - also helping Sakuta at studying, and good at cooking.
